Hi, I'm Daniel Tsang
About Me
Hi, I'm Daniel! I'm currently a third-year student at the University of Washington Bothell, where I'm majoring in Computer Science and Software Engineering. My journey into the world of computer science started back in 2020 when I first discovered the basics at Bellevue College. Since then, I've been actively expanding my knowledge and skills. I've dived into various programming languages like Java, HTML/CSS, and C#, and I'm always eager to learn more.
One of my passions is teaching, especially when it comes to introducing others to the world of programming. I've had the opportunity to teach kids and beginners about the fundamentals of coding, using platforms like Scratch and GDevelop. It's been an exciting journey, and I'm looking forward to what the future holds in this field!

Work
May 2022 - Online Private Tutor
In my role as an online tutor, I lead virtual tech camps and offer private lessons. I tailor my teaching methods to suit each student's unique learning style and the subject matter at hand. Additionally, I encourage my students to put their knowledge into practice by assisting them in the creation of exciting projects, such as 2D platformers and maze generation.

Projects
September 2023 - Personal Portfolio
This portfolio is the first project I have done on my own! Designing and developing this personal portfolio required me exercise my knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, I also had to learn how to use new tools, such as Figma and Webflow.
